Oops, thats "Just Walk Away Renee." Not to be confused, as I just did, with "Just walk on By."

I'm not making any sense at all, just enjoy her lovely rendition.

That was always one of those songs like Louie Louie, where you had to mumble along because the lyrics, on the record, were unintelligible.

Nice cover.

Wow, shades of Selena. Per Wikipedia, she released her first album at age 12.

Ha. First time in 44 years I could actually make out the words! (Feature...or Bug?)

(sad that the guy missed most of the "poignant" chords)

DMelanogaster, you'll find that those poignant chords are poly-harmonic and rely on superimposing one chord in the orchestration over another in the guitar, so he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Re-score the guitar to account for the orchestral parts, or stay true to the original guitar part?

This song was written by a sixteen year old, and scored by his uncle, IIRC. It's written about a girl he'd only known for a month and never dated. The same girl is the subject of "Pretty Ballerina," the Left Bankes only other charting tune.
