I feel more serene just reading this. What wonderfully evocative prose ... You are rightly proud (and so should she be!).

BTW, how is the wee doggy (or rather big doggy) doing?

She has a very pleasant writing style, and she gets away with techniques that when I use them look kludgy. Another guitarist in your daughter, eh?

She is doing OK. Still have not taken her to the vet but she's not had another episode, and seems to be feeling pretty frisky for a 13 yo dog.

Another guitarist in your daughter, eh?

Yeah, she gets custody of the Guild starting Monday but I am keeping the Strat for when she comes to visit.
