Damn, it must been hella confusing when they asked hispanic-origin question after the race question.

Actually, it's still confusing. I wonder if the average Mexican-American knows what race to mark. Does "American Indian" cover indigenous peoples throughout all of North and South America? I presume it does, but I'm not 100% sure.
