In honor of my comic going live .... I have decided to dress like I was colored by hand in the late 70s. Stripped lavender shirt, pale green vest, corduroy jacket, trench coat. Reference
Wasn't Watchmen from the 80s not the 70s?

Published in the late 1980s, set in the "contemporary world of the 1980s."

Because you provided no picture, I'm relying on Google images to find examples of your pieces:

LONDON FOG TRENCH COAT.

Also, a huge metal head appeared at my subway stop this morning - I am not even kidding a little.

I've decided it's 1976 today.

Sadly, I remember 1976.

It's been a very strange day, running into people I haven't seen in years, huge metal heads, girls in Hogsworts jackets, the strange fog..I kept feeling like I should be saying something hard-boiled and snarly all the time.

The fact that i was wearing a cologne that made me smell like a cupcake didn't help.

me, sans blue tie and jacket.

Also every single place I went into today was playing Echo And The Bunnymen's version of "People Are Strange"

Heh, it was the first appealing trench coat picture I came across. I'm now imagining a rivet-head who smells like a pretty cupcake, and laughing to myself.

One Halloween, years ago, started with my alarm clock going off with The Doors version playing. It seemed ominous, but the day turned out pretty drab. To be honest, I don't remember anything else of that day.

Nice

I always try to dress like I might end up as an extra in Blade Runner.

Friend of mine is a huge (HUGE) P.K.D fan boy and kinda obsessed with Blade Runner. So when we finally moved to New York, I got him this as a housewarming gift.
