Thanks fuckers! It'll be a quiet one this year cos the girls are here this week. On the upside, the girls are here this week!
For the life of me, I can't understand how the hell I ended up FORTY years old. When the hell did that happen? But, hey, the last little while has been a great time, and I feel better than I did when I was 25, so....I figure I'm going to just go ahead and grow YOUNGER.
We're heading over to some friends...they have two girls who are both a little bit younger than my girls, and the four of them have a ton of fun together. I also like the grownups, so it all works out nicely. I'm hopeful that somehow, I'll end up with some company after the girls go to sleep tonight...it's a busy night in town, so I may have a hard time drumming up a crowd, but I remain optimistic. Otherwise, perhaps I'll drink my face off alone. Yeah, I think that's a GREAT plan. :-)
