The Trustworthiness of Beards. I'm happy to find that I am on the "trustworthy" end of the spectrum. Also, that second icon is a dead ringer for BitterOldPunk.

It was reassuring to see that growing out my beard shifted me one step leftward on the Beard Trustworthiness Index.

I've never actually managed to figure out how to trim my beard into a goatee so I always have a full beard if I have one. Spring and summer, I clean shaven though; can't deal with the beard in the heat.

I vary between full, philosopher, and homeless... it is such a small step from philosopher to homeless that I don't really see how they can be so far apart...

How would you qualify these guys?

Homeless, philosopher, both?
Looking a bit unkempt there Mahesh...
I bet he thinks he's a philosopher.
Homeless hippie, but nicely shaped beard.

Apparently my husband is not very trustworthy. He has Asiatic blood (via Finland), and I think patchy beard growth is more common amongst Asians.
