Ether (verb/noun): rhetorical knockout.
(derived from the Nas song "Ether")

"Cicero ethered Catiline in 63 BC"
"Anthony Lane laid that ether on the movie"
"David Foster Wallace's ethering of Updike was misguided"

Renegade (verb/noun): extremely upset/outshine in collaboration
(derived from the Jay-Z/Eminem song "Renegade"):

"Angelina Jolie renegaded Girl, Interrupted"
Obama pulled a renegade at the 2004 DNC Convention
"The opening act renegaded the headliner"
