Breadfruit. How to cook it?→[More:]
I know you can bake it. I know you can bake it and then fry it. But I don't know much else.
I don't know. Because I don't know what a breadfruit is. But today at the grocery store I saw something called "uglyfruit" and it was. It looked like a very large greenish yellow grapefruit, sort of squishy and wrinkled. I did not want to eat it.
And what about that, grapefruit? It doesn't taste like a grape. It doesn't look like a grape. It's not green or purple like a grape. Whereas an orange IS orange and looks and tastes orange.
In one of the Harvest Moon games, you put them in the oven and then go water your crops and when you come back the oven is full of bread. And then you can sell the bread or combine it with something and make cake. I think.
I had a Samoan friend who missed breadfruit terribly. Sorry, but I don't remember what she used to do with it. I do remember she ate a lot of eggplant instead.
