Making lemonade out of lemons It's been an interesting weekend, lemme tell ya.

On Saturday morning,
my aunt died and that finally pushed me into signing up to
cut my hair to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A friend of mine also challenged me to quit smoking for 6 months in exchange for a $250 donation, so I'm doing that, too.
When I told my boss that I was thinking of taking the train up to Canada for the vigil and funeral because I don't have enough money to fly up there and would be away from the office for about four days, she got miffed. She's currently in France, so I think I'm going to take the time between phone calls and tasks to start sending out resumes.
My dad said that he didn't
need for me to be there, but since she was his younger sister by two years and she's the first of his brothers/sisters to pass, I really don't know if he'll be okay. I think my cousins are really torn up, too. If I go, I'll be missing TPS's wedding, but I think she'd be okay with that. (Right?)
I'm also going to finish work on a manuscript I started editing for Kelly's widower and then start some really serious work on getting my website and new blog project up to speed.
So... yeah... way to end the month of March, huh?
