School canceled due to good weather Bonus points for the photo.
Love it!

Wish someone had done that for me yesterday- it was gorgeous here, and I ended up working late! Boo!

I'm probably at least 10 years older than this guy, but even with him "at play" I feel like he's older than me. Is it because he's a principal?

My in-laws live in Bellingham, and we visited them last winter - there are a lot of cliches about Washington/Seattle weather, but I think lots of them are pretty close to true.

My former workplace has a rule that if it's sunny and over 75 on a Friday, you can leave at noon if you don't have any pressing deadlines.

I'll bet he has one of those signs on his desk that says:
"Don't think of me as your principal. Think of me as your princi-PAL!"

Bellingham does not get the Olympics rain shadow like Seattle does. . .it's very grey, most of the time, in my experience.

Yesterday was the first nice day in two weeks of below normal temperatures. There was an orgy of cutting grass that was too tall because it's been too wet. There was the smell of barbecue in the air for the first time this year. Today is gray, cool and rainy.

My former workplace had a rule that the first day over 65 we closed at noon. There was one summer where that never happened, it was terrible for morale.

There was a summer where it never went above 65? Ouch.
