flapjax, it's a digital harinezumi, from Japan. They just showed up here in the States last year. BTW, your first photo is my new desktop image here at work! Love it!

I wish I had the knack of (and the equipment to) really capture movement - it's hard to see that the boats in this photo are doing around 150mph.
