Journey to the Center of Your Mind I've never seen this video before. In addition to being a kick-ass song, you get to see a young Ted Nugent and 1960's dancing girls! Check out the lead singer's (John Drake) outfit too. Yeah, I know they're lip-synching.
[More:]Some more psychedelia for your Saturday night:

Happenings Ten Years Time Ago The Yardbirds (video is of them doing Stroll On from the movie Blow Up.

I Can Hear the Grass Grow The Move

I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night The Electric Prunes

The House of the Rising Sun Frijid Pink

Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream...

I loved Journey to the Center of Your Mind when it came out. It was on the first LP (a compilation disc) I ever bought, in large part because of that song.

House of the Rising Sun: also great, but probably gave my parents concern about what I was starting to listen to.

My other favorite from that first Frijid Pink album: I Want To Be Your Lover. OK, maybe that one hasn't aged so well.

I'm holding my copy of WKBW Klassics Vol 2 right now. So... you grew up in Buffalo too, eh? I'd be lying if I said I bought the album though. My older brother bought it and gave it to me after he was tired of it.

I first got that song on the compilation Michigan Rocks. Still have it. Released on "Seeds and Stems Records." Ha.

I had to get my copy of the album out to get the name right to Google it. I grew up in the Southern Tier of NY, but still close enough to get "KB". The local radio stations were pretty bad.
