When I used to go out to lunch with coworkers, I used to always order a small anchovy jalepeno pizza. No one would ever as much as look at it, let alone steal a piece.

Only if we could go halvsies on the toppings, because while I support your freedom to eat anchovies, I would rather die than consume them on a pizza.

rhapsodie, my granny and I used to split toppings like that, way aback when. My own experience suggests that there is no "half-anchovy" on delivered pizza. Put anchovies on half the pizza and put it in a delivery box, and by the time it arrives, everything is suffused with the potent anchovy scent and flavor. you end up with a half-anchovy half, and a half Essence of Anchovy half.

I did not remonstrate, ever, because who would begrudge Granny her anchovies?

That said, I might revisit anchovies sometime soon and see if they have grown on me. Mmmm, little fishes.
