In what order do you put on your shoes? Left shoe first? Right shoe first? Or, do you vary it?

I'm picturing myself putting on my shoes in my mind's eye, and I think it varies, but it seems like the left shoe goes on first more than the right. Is this for SCIENCE?

Right handed here. Primarily the left shoe first, mostly otherwise only when I can reach just the right shoe and have to get up/move to reach the left.

I've been paying attention since you posted, and it seems that I vary it. At first I thought it was left first then right, but then I noticed it was going the other way. Bizarre. Hard to observe without potentially affecting the results, yanno?

Whichever one's easier, probably. If I have a bias, it might be to the left (I'm left-handed).

Hadn't noticed, but probably left. I think when soldiers march they generally go left-right left-right, so maybe left is somehow associated with first.
