20 January 2010

More 'All-Weather' Radio (previously) I just woke up to the sound of thunder, and rather than cursing the Bob Segar earworm, decided to start playing some more of the 140+ weather-related songs I've collected. The rains begin at 7:30am Pacific, 10:30am Eastern, 3:30pm GMT, 1:30am in most of Australia, etc.
It has begun. How many things can you do musically "in the rain"? Find out NOW.

(interesting about the intro to the Spike Jones song: Li'l Abner DID get married soon after it came out; maybe Al Capp took it as a dare)

Emmylou Harris - Roses in the Snow
Bobby Hebb - Sunny
Serendipity Singers - Don't Let The Rain Come Down (Crooked Little Man)
