It's official. My boss was "let go" and I have nothing to do til my contract runs out on Friday. Won't you join me in #bunnies?
Eid, I am really, really sorry for the stress dude.
dunno if this helps but I had a similar situation occur in March of '08 here at BigPharmaCo - was working on a project that got just up and shitcanned out of the blue, also on a Wednesday. I was told to wrap up all the documentation I was working on, finish out my week, and that my contract would be finished that Friday afternoon.
Boss (current Boss, that is) got wind of this and snapped me up instead for an archival project, which morphed into a few more things... fast forward almost 2 years later, and by jinky I'm still here, and now with medical / dental, even!
All that is not to brag but hopefully to send some serious good mojo your way.
