I have hidden all news feeds on my Facebook home page. This has made me surprisingly happy.

I've always wondered what happens when you do that. Is the main page just blank?

I use facebook purity to keep all of the stupid Mafia Wars and Fish Tank crap out of view which makes Facebook tolerable.
