Please tell me I am not the only one here who watches Dexter. *Spoilers*→[More:]Because the finale ended an hour ago and I am still traumatized.
He was so awesome that there were a couple of episodes I just couldn't watch because I knew I'd have nightmares about Lithgow hurting my children. He'd better get an Emmy.
Do you recognize his daughter? Not Christine Hill, the younger one? Rebecca, I think. I know I've seen her in something but can't remember what and it's bugging me.
I had to leave the room a couple of episodes ago. I have had to leave many times. I cannot make it through an episode without leaving, or closing my eyes, or begging my husband to fast forward. I can barely take it. My husband told me what happened tonight because I cannot take it. AAHH
By the way, I still want to know what the deal was with Christine. Who's her mom? Did the rest of the family know about her? I hope they follow up with Arthur's family next season.
Dexter is like a cowboy for the 21st century. This season has been a little bit heavy on the suspension of disbelief factor; but when the sun sets a lot of bad guys have once again met their end.
Lithgow showed some acting I had not seen before; but Smits did a good bit in season 3 too. At the beginning of each season I just could not picture either of them being a bad guy, and they both pulled it off well.
Amro-Her name is Vanessa Marano. Here's her IMDB. I think I know her from being Jack's daughter on Without a Trace.
Glad to hear it's not just me, Lori. One of my friends likes to guess when I bailed in any particular episode. "You made it all the way to Arthur talking to the boy? I figured you'd be out the minute they showed the Skeeball machines!"
I feel bad now about how much I hated Rita this season. At least she loved him.
i can't read any of the comments on this , cuz i'm watching Dexter on basic cable in Canada. that means we are only half way through season 2, but i am a fan so far.
I've been watching Dexter as well. Although recently I've been wondering why. Since at least the last season has been one big soap opera where everybody has a relationship going on (Batista, Quinn, Deborah, Dexter himself) and the major part of every episode is about these relationships. Not about him as a blood spatter analyst / serial murderer. Very boring.
Amro, I won't miss cloying weepy Rita either.
Plus LeGuerta has slept with pretty much everyone but Masuka at this point. And I'm also not real jazzed about Dexter's family being victimized again. Both Deb and Rita have been menaced previously.
Oh my god, are you people saying Dexter killed Rita?
I was unimpressed with season three but had a complete season download so i watched it. Now i'm wondering if i really need to find out what happened to Rita.
Ooh, you people.
Count me in the "can't watch" camp. I read the books, but I get freaked out by the saran wrap on the face and similar. So I get my lovely boyfriend to give me detailed summaries. He was going over backstory with me yesterday at lunch when the guy at the next table turned around, put his hands on his ears and said, "LALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOOOOU!"
