Do you tumble? I'm not sure of the policy on self-linking here, so I won't link to my Tumblr unless it's okayed, but I want to know what yours are!
I don't Tumblr, but I read a lot of them and I like them. I don't really understand what Tumblr is, though- is it a blog platform just like Blogspot? Or does it encourage different things (like I've noticed most Tumblr blogs/posts tend to publish shorter entries with more pictures then other blogs)?
Yeah, Tumblr is designed to make it easy to do the kind of blogs that lots of people started doing a few years ago -- not really posting their own writing, but mainly just linking to stuff they'd found elsewhere, or posting short Twitter-esque thoughts of their own.
TPS, I'm still trying to feel my way around it, but it seems that many people use it as "look at this cool thing that doesn't warrant a full-blown blog post." Some are based on a specific theme, some are random stuff that appeals to the user.
The original tumble blogs were for short entries or links, but people are starting to use them for long entries also. One of the founders of tumblr uses it for his blog, both long and short entries.
