2 Word Lyric Game →[More:]A nice even dozen for you. I feel like this is a pretty easy batch (mostly 80s-90s) but they always seem easy from this end. Hopefully nothing too obscure in any event. There have been a lot of lyrics posts lately and I haven't checked all of them, so apologies if I'm duplicating anything that's been up recently.

I know "puddles gather" too, but it's my least favorite song of all time (I've heard so many damn times that I know all the lyrics, it'll be playing nonstop for me in hell), so I'm not gonna say.

Heh. I sent this to a friend and said "You're actually fortunate if you've forgotten about #10..." which, thanks to Hugh's abstention, is the only one remaining.

I must have missed it when Johnny Cash covered every song in existence. It seems really weird that I would pick two songs he covered without realizing.

Oh, no shit, that's a Soundgarden song originally, that's right; I recognize the lyrics only because Johnny Cash is such a master enunciator and Unchained (1996) happens to be on my mp3 stack this month.

Yeah and that BM song, I'm glad I have good music around to kill that earworm. Sometimes I wonder if the shittiness was the whole point. Just goes to show you how otherwise reasonable listeners can be snowed by a little girl in a cute bumblebee suit.

It popped up on my cousin's Zune while we were out bopping around over Thanksgiving, and I have no explanation for what it was doing there, but that's the only reason it was on my mind.
