When I can be bothered I make it myself with mixed nuts, dried cranberries, dried pawpaw and shredded coconut. Everything except the fruit gets toasted a bit in the oven with a smidge of golden syrup.
In every arena, there are different swearing rules for Aussies (you are Aussie, no?).
The granola looks lovely except they illustrate the pre-mixes that contain dried strawberries (ACK) with pictures of fresh strawberries (YUM). And it all seems really expensive to me. And they don't deliver to the UK but I'd be surprised if there weren't a similar service here.
It does look good but probably horribly expensive for all the extras I'd want to add to it. What I hate about most granola sold here is that it's got coconut in it, which I can't have. I loves me some muesli, though, and usually soak it in pineapple/mango juice overnight.
Mmmmm. Thing is, granola's not that hard to make, though I can see this being very appealing to working families with small children for whom the idea of one more regular chore brings on the urge to gouge out their eyes with a grapefruit spoon. But really? Not that hard to make, though you have to be around to watch & stir while it toasts. Mine has dried cranberries, coconut (sorry, jan), cashews, and maple syrup in addition to the grains and such. Nomnomnom.
