How wonderful. One of the best times I had was when I was in Ohio for Christmas three years ago and helped out with the annual Firefighters4Kids drive.

It's so fun! I'm sitting over here obsessively refreshing the Amazon list. Yay!

Gyah... with like $35 that I gave to the 100K raffle, $155 to Child's Play over the course of Desert Bus (act now, and you can make one of the crew members see New Moon 6 times in one day if they reach $100K donated!) and now the gift I just bought off of the list (plus probably another gift I'll purchase off of the Child's Play lists for the NY-area local hospital) I am FULL UP on the spirit of giving!

And why not? Even though I've had a rocky few years, I'm so freaking blessed to be housed, fed, warm, and working. I don't have a romantic partner, but I do have people who love me who aren't family.

It's people like TPS, and mathowie, and the Desert Bus crew, and others that make it fun and painless to donate and give that make these kinds of charity drives so easy to do.

I'm agnostic, but I know you're not, so God bless you TPS, for taking on this task. Seriously.
