Jarvis Cocker, "Further Complications." Great song, and I LOVE this video. (Link also contains a Q&A with the video's director.)
Nice. I like the album - I can't decide if it's as strong at the previous one or not, not that that really matters. Wasn't there a vid of his where he dressed up as various annoying pop stars?

I haven't quite warmed to his solo albums, and this song didn't do much for me, alas. Maybe it's me, because I love Pulp.

I don't know about that video, The DonF, but that sounds like him.

I don't like his new album quite as much as the first one; it's great, but the previous one was practically perfect, IMO.

The solo albums are all too grim and humourless for my liking.

The one good thing he's done recently is his song in Fantastic Mr Fox (he's Petey).

Have you seen his site? The Flash intro thing is well worth checking out. The video I was talking about might be "Angela". The verion on YouTube is him singling live in France, but some of the comments seem to allude to a different video.

I think you're right about the latest album, it's not quite as strong as his first. Interestingly (to me!), the latest Jarvis and Manic Street Preachers albums came out on the same day in the UK and were both recorded by Steve Albini.

I've heard good things about Fantastic Mr Fox. Might have to check it out.
