Apparently Stanley Kubrick wanted to use Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother" in the film A Clockwork Orange. It could have worked.

that would have been cool, but i have to admit the music he went with is now indelibly associated with the movie (even in italian lol)

that shot is amazing - still is. Kubrick did more for freaky future scary than an army of CGI nerds.

That look on Malcolm McDowell's face at the start tells you everything you need to know right at the outset - now you just have to sit back and wait for it.
