Those are just great. If I produced some kind of product, I'd definitely spring for one of those barcodes to go on it.

The amazing Rick Tharp of the Tharp Did It design firm did some barcodes like this more than 10 years ago.

He disappeared but is believed to have taken his own life. It still makes me sad.

D-Barcode won the Cannes Titanium award 2006 [which is as you might guess the award to top all others during the Cannes Lions advertising festival] and I called them out on being copycats on it a couple of days later. Of course D-Barcode went a step further than the other companies I show there, they made a business out of selling the pretty barcodes to various clients, and that is the what got them the titanium.
