I happen to have a pretty low tolerance for caffeine. Even after years of drinking large amounts of tea every day, I can still get quite a kick out of a single cup of coffee. I will get as excited as a five year old in a toy store, start talking nonsense etc. I once demonstrated this to a friend of mine - I don't really remember why we were drinking coffee; maybe it was because it was really cold outside, maybe it was something else. Anyway, as I was drinking my coffee, my friend watched and laughed as I started talking faster and faster, and making less sense with every sip I took. He said later that this experience led him to drop his coffee drinking habit...
The coffee in our machine at work is pretty good. They have several options, mostly instant (including Espresso) but they also have a 'Freshbrew' button, which is ground coffee (Douwe Egbert brand, which is meh, but better than instant) and you can choose the strength of it (I always have 'Strong').
At home I grind my own beans (these, which I buy at Costco for £7.99) and brew the coffee in an Aeropress.
