The closeup of the tarantula leg is cool but the rest of it has left me feeling as if there are crawling things all over me.

I am okay with pics of single spiders, but when they are all clustered together it's a little icky.

And they said I was crazy,
and they cut off my legs/
and now I'm an amputee/
goddamn you!

We have a pet tarantula named Arana. She's a pretty low maintenance pet, lives in a fish tank with a layer of dirt and little log and a water bowl. Once a month we throw half a dozen crickets in. They live a long time, my wife bought her about a dozen years ago and I think that she's probably got another decade to do.

Yeah, you know, I can't even open this one. I'm sorry Specklet. But thank you for the honest and upfront title, so I knew not to click. :)
