Is a man allowed to play with dolls? [More:]Because... come on... it's Joan fucking Jett.

And if Debbie Harry and/or Cyndi Lauper want to jam along, I won't mind. (via)
this is the second place I've seen "Sandi Holder's Doll Attic" linked today. Weird.

/me clears history so husband doesn't see this and spend money on dolls

There's a message board for that.

It's a pretty neat board, its members sculpt or modify their own 1/16th scale models and make some of the most detailed doll clothing I've ever seen. I learned about them when a media company I work with hired one of the board members to sculpt custom figures for a TV show.

Dolls? No. Action figures? Yes.

(also, the Cyndi doll dosen't even remotely resemble her.)

I wonder if they're made to be those particular dolls or Barbies that have been re-made.

Barbies that have been re-made - Plastic surgery, perhaps?

I'm not sure where I saw it originally, adiril, but there was a site linked from either here or MeFi that showed re-made Barbies and other dolls. People would remove make-up and hair and re-paint and re-clothe.

Hmm, the Debbie Harry looks post-boob job but pre-weight gain.
