It's actually a moth.

Hit post instead of preview.

The antennae are what tipped me off--you can see in your pic they have that distinctly feathery look, and I figured it was a moth mimicking a wasp.
So I did a search for "moth wasp" and this was the first result.

I didn't know they existed. Animal mimicry is really awesome.
