Randy Pausch's Last Lecture: What's your take on either the lecture itself or the book?
At my library, a few months ago, we had a rush of patrons asking about that book after some judge in town started ordering people to read it.

I never heard of it before. I'm going to watch it now though.

Stuff like this scares the hell out of me because mortality scares me and I generally think that past age 27, I've been a pretty unhappy person who has neither a personal passion nor dream. This speaks to dreams and passion and being one who has them, not how to develop them.

Ah, ignore the above. I might be getting my unhappy 'female time' and developing the alter-self.

Strike that, I'm definitely menstrual and currently out of my head. Apologies all around, it hit me out of the blue and now I'm a bit embarrassed at completely losing myself for a moment there.

Don't be embarrassed. I'm proud not to have a dream. I'm watching Randy's lecture right now. He's a great salesman (as his boss [someone] Van Dam said) but I'm not buying.
