What I do for work...on CNN today! →[More:]
Last week I got a last-minute phone call that CNN was going to be taping a segment for their morning show about some changes in the sex education laws here in NC. The organization that CNN was working with asked me if I could get some of the young people I worked with to be interviewed. Short notice, but I was able to reach one young woman. She's the one with an excellent sound-bite in the video. (Here's the transcript if you don't want video.)

There was a small possibility that I was going to be interviewed, too, but I escaped, thank goodness!

I really wish you all could have heard this panel of young men and women who work tirelessly to help their peers prevent pregnancy and STDs. The conversations I hear and the wisdom the teens give me is what keeps me going on a day-to-day basis. They are so great.
