The MetaChat Movie of the Month for September is White Dog (1982), dir. by Samuel Fuller.→[More:] Though it was made in '82, it wasn't officially released in the U.S. until December of last year, due to a campaign against the film by the NAACP, who felt the film was racist. (Had they actually seen it, they'd have seen that quite the opposite is true.)

I checked Netflix, and they do carry this movie. Anybody who wants to join in, take a look at the movie this month, and we'll have a discussion thread around Oct. 1st.
