All the TLAs (Three-Letter Acronyms) at work are making me want to KILL!!!11!! [More:]The business lingo in general isn't helping.

After an hour and a half long "webinar," filled with possibly 2 sentences of actual information and the other 88 minutes of "actualizing strategic vision plans," I went back to work and submitted a tech service request.

I got a letter back saying, amid 4 other paragraphs:
"This request and the form should be sent by one of the authorized person.
If you do not know the name of that person, please contact your BPO process owners."

ARRRGGGGHHHHH!! WTF?? STFU! GTFO! OMG!

Why can't anyone just say what they mean and cut out the crap? The meeting could have been 5 minutes and the email could have just said "Get X's approval and have him/her resend."

KILL!!
(Kick Illiterate Language Losers)
Sounds like a EPI problem. You could probably BBD, or PBD, but then you'd probably be FIW, unless you UNA. I deal with this too, but I'm a temp here so I never actually learn what they stand for. BKB

I don't know what BPO stands for, but do the last two letters stand for "process owner?"

Don't forget to fill out your TPS report. She'll be angry if you don't!

I have no idea what BPO stands for either, it's one of their new terms I guess. I hope it does have Process Owner just for the sheer hilarity.

K, L, M and DWV; or B, L, T, and DUI?

Oh yeah, the idea of a "Business Process Owner Process Owner" would make EVERYTHING worthwhile.

I took a course this week at work that had to do with cost accounting. They had four letter acronyms. That really sucked.

Sounds like a Elephant Pants Inverted problem. You could probably Bring Beer and Dogs, or Peanut Butter and Donuts, but then you'd probably be Fun in Wassahatchee, unless you Unbutter Nine Ants?

I don't know what those acronyms mean.
