It's just about EXACTLY what I'd hoped for when I started looking around about 4-5 months ago. I was really hoping to find a place in a neighbourhood that amounts to about 6-8 blocks around my girls' school. It's an older neighbourhood, so most of the houses have old-house charm. Some are also run down old shacks. Others are lovely, TWICE-WHAT-I-CAN-AFFORD mansions. So...it was a long shot to hope that I could find one of the gems.

But, I really think I did. It's all been updated and re-painted, and new windows and new furnace, etc.

The only bummer is that I have to wait and close on November 3rd. The sellers are moving into a new home and it's not due for completion until then. But...I've managed to share my old house with my ex this long...two more months won't kill us.

I'm soooo soooo relieved. Whoa.
