Our microwave died! Any (dis)recommendations for a new one? →[More:]

2 person household, not looking to spend a ton of money but want bang for the buck. Y'know, the usual.

I'd seriously go freecycle or craigslist, but that's me and I'm on the frugal side.

If you can spare the extra money, go for a combination microwave/convection oven. Wal*Mart has a Sanyo at $160. You can use it as a counter-top oven as well as a microwave, which is far more cost-effective than heating a big oven if you're just cooking for two. I have a Panasonic combination oven and it's big enough to roast a chicken.
