ooooooo that looks like it might be pretty cool

Neat to see Jackson scale back down to a Heavenly Creatures size movie. Hopefully it won't been three hours long.

Wonderful! I loved the book, and this looks like a real treat.

The book was really good. The movie is definitely going on my "see at the theatre" list.

I've never heard of the book, but that looks like it could be a really fun movie. (And kudos on the Heavenly Creatures comparison, octothorpe... it does look very much on that scale, which is cool as that's my favorite PJ movie.)

Wow, that looks cool. When did Jackson loose all the weight?

Wait, no, Heavenly Creatures is my favorite Jackson movie. You can't have it. Or I'll push.

item, sometime during the production of King Kong, when he started eating "muesli and yogurt" instead of hamburgers.

Ooh, I can't wait!

anyone who sees this movie should definitely read the book FIRST.

I didn't like the book, I like Heavenly Creatures, I'll probably see it on netflix.

I'm not allowed to see it in theaters, I've just been told by the husband. I started bawling at the start of the trailer and only stopped because he made me laugh.

I read the book on the commuter train and couldn't stop crying, people noticed. Husband started laughing at me, 'Stop it, they're going to think I beat you."

We'll totally rend it... with tons of ice cream ready.

By the way, hello uplifting holiday movie, eh?

I thought the book was overrated, but I like Peter Jackson (and I LOVE Heavenly Creatures), so I'll probably rent it.

I don't wanna see it, I have a really hard time with violence-against-women tales, however ultimately uplifting they may be. Similarly to eatdonuts, I read the book while on a weeklong beach vacation with friends. I lay in the sun on a cheerful towel, my chest tight, weeping for the plight of the Irish people. A couple of my friends had already read it and occasionally looked up at me and said "Yeah...that is one, sad, book."

Li Jie plays the Prelude of Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 on guitar. || What's that narrow pointy deal on a Swiss Army Knife?
