Anyone know how Ardiril's doing? →[More:]

Did he have his surgery yesterday?

I don't mean to pry, but he's very much on my mind. I'm assuming no news is good news. (Mind you, I'm not on Twitter or in #bunnies, so forgive me if the info. was there.) Thanks, bunnies.

I was about to shave today, and then thought of Ardiril.

Especially considering that I heard back from my friend who just had his dialysis treatments and he's doing much better now, I was hoping that the same could be said for him!

Thanks for the link back, Elsa. I thought BoPo might be in touch with Ardiril's son. (With such a surgery, I imagine Ardiril himself may be out of it for some while.)

When my dad had his bypass a few months ago they did not allow electronics around him for a few days. It may be the same case here. Hope BoPo gets the good news from Ardiril's son soon.

His surgery was on the west coast, Fresno, right? That's what I've been thinking all day, figuring that with surgery, post-op, etc., it could be awhile till us East Coasters get our info.

I'll be surprised if we hear anything from him before tomorrow at the soonest, but as SOON as I hear anything at all, I will pass it on.

He told me his son has my email and phone #, but I didn't think to ask for his son's info... dammit. I should have done that.

W00T. Just heard from Ardiril Jr that his dad's awake and doing okay, and Ardiril asked him to call me to let all of us know. We're going to be in touch again tomorrow, etc. So far, so good!

I came to metachat specifically to look for news of Ardiril. Glad he is doing OK.

minor confusion:I thought he mentioned in his tweets that he was getting a transplant, not a bypass? either way, rough stuff. I hope he has some good looking nurses and LOTS of morphine.
