Thanks so much, folks. My sweetie brought me coffee in bed this morning and played hookie from work to hang with me today. We're gonna go have a decadent lunch at Les Halles this afternoon, and then I have to buy some pants, cause I have an interview at a high school tomorrow -- yay! (I still have my job at my old school, but I'd like to transfer, if I can, and this school looks promising. And only a 30 minute commute, instead of an hour and twenty minutes. But I don'd want to get my hopes up; I'm sure I'm one of many candidates.)
Hugs & whuffles all around. I'm not nearly as depressed as I thought I'd be today. Happy day!

I'm sooooo full. And guess who we saw on the way to the restaurant? None other than Anthony Bourdain himself. He shook my hand and wished me a happy birthday. He's a tall cuss, and has lovely soft hands.
And foie gras is truly delicious.
Plus, one of my favorite movies, Bull Durham, is on TV. It's funny to see how they work around the dirty parts.
