Why does the link go through facebook?

I tend to like my female comic book characters to be drawn and written by, you know, females (hi, Lynda Barry and Ariel Schrag!) but the lack of cheesecakiness is part of why I love recent-Batgirl Cassandra Cain so much. She's pissed off and badass and does not show a scrap of bare skin. Not even her face.

Also, she's Asian, and when you're a half-Latina girl who has given up on seeing anyone who looks vaguely like you in any form of media you'll take what you can get. HOORAY MINORITIES.

I saw ico!

I gave up reading the new new NEW NEW Supergirl after about the sixth issue because she was really slutty, and 16 year old slutty at that. I keep hearing the book's turned itself around over the last couple of years, though, so I might have to pick up some trades.

Also, Power Girl's boob window will NEVER need justification.

For whatever it's worth, I assumed that it had to go through facebook to pick up a cookie or to otherwise get validated or something, and was curious. I didn't assume you were an idiot!
