Oh, I forgot to say I took this pic this morning on my bicycle ride.

Awww :) It's unusual for a mama and babies to be out and about, so exposed like that. I hope they made it safely to wherever they were going. We used to have a mama possum and babies living in our backyard. The babies were so cute when they got old enough to start learning to walk on their own.

Awww. I know American possums are ugly critters compared with Australian possums, but that picture is adorable.

Cute! If you see them at night it looks like the mama's back is lined with mini lights from the babies' eyes.

Subtitle: Oh yeah? well I haul these moochers around all day, the least you can do is make dinner.

She's simply teeming with adorable babies!

They really do "play possum". I went right up to her to take that picture and she didn't move. Except her whiskers were twitching. After the pic I backed away and got back on my bike and rode off, and she continued on her merry way.
