TPS: I'm in the mood to spend other people's money, but it may be at that oh-so-cute Japanese cafeteria.

I have a meeting with the New Yorker every Tuesday at 11:30 wherein I get my dose of SHAME and REGRET. I'd like a nice friendly chaser. So I say, 12. Noon Midtownish. NYC. Who. Is. In?

I am going to say, I will be in the Conde' Nast building lobby at 11:30. Trust me, you'll see me. There are some nice places around there. I plan on having a drink and a nosh someplace close. Show up at 11:30 and we can go together. This is a standing all-everyone invitation. And again (rot5 cell number 2874469423 ) for turmoil.

I would not like anyone seeing bridesmaids gowns sober.

We're a little low on cash- want to have hot dogs at Grey's Papaya? There's one at eighth and 37th. Mmmmmm, hot dogs and a delicious mango juice. Or could you sneak us into the Conde Nasty cafeteria so we could see what all those sassy people aren't eating this week???

As this is a standing invite, I will ping you sometime when I know I've got enough time in the afternoon. As it is, I'm showing this apartment today at 11:45 pm, but don't think I can stay away from the office for long because I have board packages to prepare.

My schedule is erratic at best, I rarely know where I'm going to be a week in advance. I've decided to embrace it as a lifestyle choice.

I'll be in the lobby waiting for people at 11:30 and attempt to smuggle you guys in under the guise of being cartoonists.

Now my only choice is: should I foppish or dandy?

(and LP, I've met Clams Casino. She's a nice Irish gal who can pull off beer tops with her boobs. Seriously, it's part of her act.)
