The 'burgh has gone nuts as usual about this. All the city buses say "Go Pens" on the front where they should read out what route they are. I think half the men in the city have grown playoff beards and everyone wears Penguins jerseys to work on game days. You could probably go on a bank robbing spree right now since everyone in the city is watching the game.

Pffft. Hockey season ended when the Canucks lost.

I'm bummed that the Blackhawks didn't win, (and that my Sabres didn't even make the playoffs) but the Penguins better kick some Red Wing ass!

As a special treat before the Cubs game yesterday, they trotted out a dozen or so Blackhawks. The crowd was super, super pumped. As a Bruins fan, I was very tempted to heckle the crap out of them, losers that they are, but it would have quickly become a 41,000 to 1 fight, I'm sure.

I'm not liking having to root for Detroit to win again, but I really, really hate dislike those whiny-ass Penguins.

Eh...last year I cheered for the Wings, as I've done all my life except for when they played the Coyotes. But I'm kinda ready to see the Pens start piling up their Cups.
