Thanks, everybody. I actually had a much nicer than expected birthday. Woke up, had two pancakes, took a walk, took a nap, listened to music, played guitar with my neighbors, took a nap, ate three porkchops, talked on the phone to my dad and my brother, shot the breeze with my neighbors, drank an orange soda. Smiled almost all day long.
I feel much better than I have in days. Except I'm bushed now. But it's a real treat to come here and see such a great bunch of friends saying happy birthday, so thanks, I really appreciate it. Happy my birthday to all of you, too. And thanks again, I really needed it. Big hugs to you all.
Oh and I had a salad of pineapple, spring onions, and hot red peppers along with my porkchops, which were grilled in a lemongrass marinade. And my neighbors prevailed upon the Thai waitstaff to sing happy birthday, so I got to make a wish and blow out a candle, too. A nice warm gooey chocolate pudding cake that we split three ways. Mmmmmm.
Indeed, I do. I'm heading down to the Old Line State as soon as I have a couple days of feeling well past me. One of these days I'll take the ride down 75 to see a Macon smile; I'm sure I can make it over Atlanta way, too. Ten years ago I went on a great fishing trip to one of those lakes down there, can't remember which. Definitely looking forward to doing it again, the sooner the better.
Well, darn. I don't have ready access to a computer on weekends and you go and have a birthday on the weekend. That's, like, soooo unfair - I missed it!
Sooooo, like anyway, hope the belated "HAPPY YEAR!" wishes work just as well. Glad to see you had a good time with friends and family.
