This is a Drinking Thread: Duval pint with a Knob Creek Chaser. because I suspect the fish was undercooked and I don't want a parasite.
Leinenkugel Honey Weiss (in case you're not from Wisconsin, it's beer)

White wine. Lots of cheap dry white wine. Very cold, from a heavy sea-green glass tumbler. Because summer has finally arrived here, and it is warm and sunny and glorious out, and time to flomp on the back deck with a tumblerful of icy-cold white wine.

Delsym 12-hour cough with a piping hot Theraflu chaser (Now in nauseating Apple & Cinnamon flavor!)

Generic diet Coke with a sploosh of Rosa's Lime Cordial.

Hugh, so you are not someone who got Theraflu with Sweet-n-Low to help the medicine go down?

Just Fresca for me. Sigh, I'm such a fogey.

I've heard of "self-medicating," but that is just brilliant.

Guinness here. Like always.

Nope, The Whelk, not me; I actually never had this sort of thing as a kid. Just aspirin and blankets.

The Tonic in Gin and Tonic got it's start as a medical aide against Malaria in British-owned India. Richard Burton credited his never getting sick or ill or upset in India to a shot of "Strong drink" after every meal.

yes, and these days we have to do our bit to combat all those malarial mosquitos we find here in central England... umm...

Last night I was drinking Chimay Blond. Only one though, otherwise I'd be cursing the sun today.

Bottle of Wychcraft, shot of Edradour (very sweet and mellow single malt Scotch, might appeal to bourbon fans).

Thanks for reminding me: time to switch over to the summer cocktails. Pernod & soda (sometimes with oj) on lots of ice, and sangria. Mmmmm.

Oooh, Pimms and ginger ale (fresca also works), with lots of fruit garnish. Yum!
