I was in Sally's Beauty Supply at lunch and didn't realize I was dancing till the associate said "you like this music too?" I said yeah, it took me back, and she said "yeah, back in the day. . ." I think the wikipedia link is weak, but I didn't know it was a regional thing until I read it.
