Eating a Cobb Salad from Quizno's for lunch. [More:] Last week, when she was still with us, my coworker ordered me one by mistake not realizing I wanted the chicken salad. But when it arrived it was so delicious. I'd have never ordered it on my own, probably.

I forgot to buy kleenex at the store. Her funeral is tomorrow and our whole store is shutting down and going. It seems so weird that we made our own door badge (the flowers you see on a home's door when there is a death in the family.)

Her parole officer called the store. She'd been out last week with surgery, and didn't know about E. My coworker told her (I was off today, obviously.) I'm glad I wasn't there.

Funny, to be eating a salad, in someone's honor. Because that is what I am doing. I loved you, E. I didn't care about all the junk you were dealing with, I just saw all the good stuff in you that I guess you didn't see.

That's all.

Funny, to be eating a salad, in someone's honor. Because that is what I am doing. I loved you, E.

I get this. Today at lunch, I ordered a BLT and then thought Wuh? I don't want that. It was Dad talking, Dad who loved BLTs, who ordered them whenever they were on the menu, who made them at home during tomato season, Dad whose will to live was, no kidding, restored by a BLT.

Every so often, I order a BLT, just because Dad would've ordered it.

Take care, bunnyfire. And enjoy your Cobb salad.

It WAS really good.

My office manager posted a pic of E. on her facebook page-happier time, holding a bridal bouquet. Don't know if it was her own or one she had made.

I am so glad no one has asked me where I think she is now. I know that lots of people reached out to her, and I'd like to think she had a little chat with God and then God decided she'd had enough of the hell of this world.

I know I'm rambling. I need to be cleaning house, and cooking some meals for this week, and picking out something to wear to the funeral tomorrow... how ludicrous it feels to know I will be selling flowers to people tomorrow wearing a funeral outfit.

Oh, and the BLT story? Yes. I needed to read that.

I love my students this term || What consumer products will you not buy in the store brand version?
