What has Congress accomplished this year? Honest question, no snark intended.
There's the Ledbedder Pay act, which resets the clock for reporting pay disparity because of gender to every paycheck, instead of requiring it be done within a few months of hiring. (sorely needed, as a lot of companies expressly forbid people to discuss pay with coworkers, so it may take ages until you know you're being screwed.)

They did an expansion of the child health bill giving insurance to poor kids.

The stimulus which, for me at least, means an extra $25 a week in my unemployment check and a 66% subsidy of my cobra premiums. (It had more involved, but that's the part I know for sure since I see it every week).

A bill providing fed assistance to local jurisdictions in prosicuting hate crimes.

They gave DC a vote in the house, for the first time ever

That's just what I could come up with off the top of my head.

This wikipedia page might have what you want. It lists bills passed and bills failed: 111th congress
also this one: 110th congress

Thanks for asking this, looking it up made me see just how much doesn't get through, which I find interesting.

I wish. The various bills on the subject are currently stalled.

They created ARRA, the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, with a bundle of grant distribution programs through federal, regional, and state agencies. This use of stimulus funds has made money available to my instition which could keep me employed through the end of the year.

I'm also following with interest the pending credit card legislation, and the Employee Free Choice Act.

Another way to find out what's happening is to look up your senators' and reps' pages on the government websites: Senate.govand House.gov. They have lists of what legislation they've been working on and the voting record.

The Washington Post's U.S. Congress Votes Database "lets you browse every vote in the U.S. Congress since 1991."
