this piece is fantastic for introducing me to the term "twatwaffle" in the comments section.

Joe abuses the dictionary.

What, to join Stormfront?

(The scary thing is, I actually have a former friend -- he was married to my best friend from junior high for 16 years -- who's gradually lost his mind and did exactly that. He now has a white supremacist internet radio show. And he looks uncannily like Joe the Plumber, but with a big Fu Manchu mustache and horrible teeth.)

I wish the media would stop printing stories about him already. The more press he gets, the more he's going to be under the impression that he's important. He's not. He is very unimportant.

'Joe,' you are a very, very unimportant man. Now go live your unimportant life and do your unimportant things and stay the fuck out of it already, you unimportant media whore.

In a related story, Lipstick The Thespian is now being asked to join Obama's Community Development Department (new - look on the news!) as a Regional Director/Community Advocate.

I agree with mudpuppie. We need less of JtP and more of that little boy who wanted to interview the President. Now there's someone with ambition!

Amazing. I didn't think he was that smart.

LT, what really? Oh, how awesome is that???

Yeah, it's kind of amazing, really. Some folks I know from hereabouts have been so knocked out by my attitude and ability to show up and rally folks, that they submitted my name and background to the people shepherding this whole deal and I was accepted.

You guys wouldn't believe how much paperwork I had to do for this gig - we're talking a small novel. But yeah, it's kind of cool.

and kind of not-exactly-true. There is no official Community Development Department as of yet that I could be named to.

But here's to hope!
