Impressive production values. They're pitching this for tv?

Even though I'm pretty cynical about "reality tv" and don't consider myself a consumer of such drek, I realized the other day that I actually watch a lot of it. My "sit down and watch whatever's on" time (as opposed to the couple of series I tivo and sports events) is pretty much 90% either home design, fitness, or "green" shows. They are not the contestants-battling-for-a-prize type of reality show, but do I guess fall into reality tv genre. Dunno why that realization took so long to take in.

This looks awesome, like a unapologeticaly low-brow version of The Long Way Round.

That looks like lots of fun. It'll be a cool way to see quite a bit of the country from my warm, comfy, non-vibrating home.

And watching it I thought I recognised quite a bit of British Columbia and I was right! The pretty mountain footage is the Coquihalla Highway.

Nice description, annaramma. Yeah, they're shopping it around and apparently have some promising interest. The main guy films ads for a living, so it looks like he knew who to get to shoot & edit it. My big disappointment is that Mike told me their route took them through Alabama so hopefully we could have a flying visit, and nope--they're skirting the state like it was on fire. Still, rock & roll, hoochie coo. It should be a fun show.
