LT Scores First Scripted Acting Gig in New England, Wears Jock Strap On Stage! [More:]

Just got cast in the show Jeffrey, written by Paul Rudnick. I play a bunch of different bit roles, including one where I'm on stage in nothing but a leather jacket and jock strap.

If anyone here has ever been on stage in nothing but a leather jacket and jock strap, I'd like to hear from you in order to more further understand my character.
lol... break a leg!

I suggest you start watching some old Cramps videos. Lux Interior used to rock that look pretty regularly, often in heels.

Also, pics or it didn't happen.

Congradges, break a leg. Or three!

As I recall, Lena Olin said of her butt-nekkidness in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, "Nudity is just another costume."

Something you might consider.

True 'dat, J-B. I could care less if the director needed to be spend the entirety of the show nekkid - I just thought it was funny that the first acting role I've had in three years involves a jock strap as motivation.

What BP said.

And as far as pics, we have to do promos in character, so there may be a chance I have to be photographed as such - I'll let the curious know as this happens.

Tee hee, you said `strap on`.

Just so you know and don't waste your time: If pending legislation passes, it will soon be a lot harder to get a bikini wax in New Jersey. So, you know, stay local.

Puppanoodles - I always think globally, shave locally.

Thirding what BP said. ;)

I will be attending said performance and am currently taking bids for my original photography, suitable for framing. ;)

I'd like an 8 x 10 glossy, please, Miko. Starting bid at $50.00.

Congrats, LT! You're a brave and delightful fellow. I, too, will be expecting pics. (We can talk bribes privately, Miko.)

All I can say is, LT, you must have one very expressive ass.

Dude. DUDE!

You are totally somewhat burying the lead because you are going to be in Jeffrey of which there was a film adaptation that has Patrick Stewart hamming it up and chewing lots of scenery, and DUDE! JEFFREY!

When can we arrange a road trip to come up and see you in the play, even if it is in bit roles? And do you have recommendations on places to crash?

And also dude? Based on my experiences walking topless down Fifth Avenue, the only thing I can tell you is to revel in it.

In short: dude.

Wow - had no idea this was such a thing for some folks. I'd never even heard of this show until literally yesterday.

I don't know about road trips - based on tonight's rehearsal this might be a very wobbly colt to drive all that way for.

At least gauging by my sad-ass attempt at rehearsal (no pun intended, folks) this evening.

More later.

I'd never heard of it till you mentioned it, LT. And it was a movie??

I'll avoid contamination by other versions until we get to see your version, or certain (apparently highly-priced) pics thereof. :)

Break a leg LT! I'd love to see it!

P.S. Will you and Miko be down in Boston while I'm here (until 4-17)?
